Data Scientist

Our product team is looking for a data scientist to help set the foundations of our data-informed culture at the company. As well, you will be working alongside the co-founders to setup the processes that will allow us to collect, synthesize, and use the data to enrich the user experience.

In this role, you will be given the freedom and flexibility to experiment with new tools and methodologies as well as make a massive impact at a fast-paced startup.


  • 2 years of professional experience in data science, data engineering or software engineering related roles. (Yes, internship/coop experience counts!)
  • Experience using SQL or similar big data querying languages
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work independently is a must. (This role is fully remote)
  • Experience with programming language, such as Python or R
  • Knowledge of database systems - Relational and Non relational databases preferably - MySQL, DynamoDB, Amazon Aurora etc.
  • Experience with tools such as Datadog, Segment, Tableau, Amplitude, or Mixpanel
  • Experience in advanced quantitative analysis including regression, classification, clustering, and time-series analyses.


  • Have ownership of the full data science lifecycle, including partnering with product, engineering and business teams to deliver customer focused products.
  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis to build and maintain our campaign recommendation system in order to improve core product experience
  • Apply various data science methods to understand the most meaningful aspects of our product and generate actionable insights
  • Evangelize evidence-based decision making by partnering with all teams across engineering, marketing and sales, as well as driving general accessibility of data and insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Distill ambiguous product or business questions, find clever ways to answer them, and to quantify the uncertainty

Bonus (not required)

  • Experience in designing and testing experiments
  • Experience on working on 2-sided marketplace products
  • Programming knowledge - Python, Node.js, React (strongly preferred), Java, C++, Angular etc...
  • Familiarity with AWS is a plus
  • Familiarity with test automation techniques is a plus

Sales Development Representative

We're seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join and grow within our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your sales and business development acumen while working in a fast-paced startup environment that rewards resourcefulness and creativity.

You will contribute to prospecting and customer development projects led by our Head of Sales and work alongside extremely talented marketers and product-people.


  • Your ability to interpret and communicate technical information is absolutely critical for this role. Candidates will be assessed primarily on their communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities and an ability to quickly identify customer needs
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work independently is a must. (This role is fully remote)
  • You easily establish rapport and genuinely care about helping customers achieve their objectives. Not just the sale!
  • This is a full-time role requiring 35-40 hours/week. (If you're only able to commit PT, we still encourage you to apply)!


  • Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for the Sales team
  • Build an outbound pipeline of qualified leads and establish key influencers/decision-makers
  • Manage incoming leads and build rapport to establish long-term relationships via multiple channels including phone, email and social media
  • Assist with managing/updating the company CRM and expanding our database of leads
  • Manage your backlog of customer queries and communicate key issues for product review
  • Oversee multiple projects at a time and prioritize workload within the team to ensure that project timelines are met
  • Work across the sales/business development department to roll out new initiatives.
  • Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities

  • Knowledge or any background working with a CRM tool such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Infusionsoft, etc.
  • Previous experience in a B2B sales environment
