Business Development Associate

We're seeking a dynamic sales intern to join and grow within our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your sales and business development acumen while working in a fast-paced startup environment that rewards resourcefulness and creativity.

You will contribute to prospecting and customer development projects led by our Head of Sales and work alongside extremely talented marketers and product-people.

Requirements

  • Your ability to interpret and communicate technical information is absolutely critical for this role. Candidates will be assessed primarily on their communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking abilities and an ability to quickly identify customer needs
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work independently is a must. (this role is fully remote)
  • You easily establish rapport and genuinely care about helping customers achieve their objectives. Not just the sale!

Responsibilities

  • Establish your personal and team goals, and work with your managers to create a comprehensive strategy to achieve your milestones
  • Developing relationships with local businesses and community partners
  • Assist with updating the company CRM and expanding our database of leads
  • Contribute to executing and optimizing outbound marketing efforts
  • Manage incoming leads and new businesses that are qualified for demos
  • Build an outbound pipeline and establish key influencers/decision-makers
  • Manage your backlog of customer queries and communicate key issues for product review
  • Writing/editing/proofreading reports, sales decks, and other sales content

Marketing Coordinator

This is an immersive marketing role where you'll be required to wear many hats. You will help fuel user-acquisition by producing compelling content that educates customers and ensures we have clear engagement across the customer lifecycle.

As an early-stage member, you'll collaborate closely with our founding team on initiatives that encompass marketing, sales, and product development.

Requirements

  • Must have prior experience managing an active LinkedIn and/or Twitter account. You'll be asked to show accounts you've managed in the past as a reference (doesn't have to be business page)
  • Excellent verbal and written skills. Candidates will be assessed thoroughly on their ability to communicate.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work and make decisions independently
  • A sense of urgency— we're moving very fast and have ambitious milestones
  • Willingness to get creative, take risks, and experiment. We're constantly iterating and you'll be required to validate all of your ideas and assumptions through rapid testing
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced marketing role

Responsibilities

  • Manage our company LinkedIn and Twitter pages to a high standard and act as a point of contact for inquires from social media
  • Produce white-papers and case studies for digital distribution
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and creators in the Node community
  • Oversee customer on-boarding email notifications and improve engagement across all stages of the user-lifecycle
  • Identify appropriate marketing technologies, processes, and techniques to deliver marketing content and increase customer touch-points

Software Developer (Winter 2021 Intership)

Things To Consider:

  • This posting is for a paid intership/co-op role commencing in January 2021
  • We operate a 2-sided marketplace with separate apps for both sides of our user-base (businesses & influencers).
  • You will be working on web-applications.

Qualifications

  • Programming experience with prior relevant projects: React, Python (Flask/Django), Java
  • Exposure to cloud services (preferably AWS) is desirable. Some of the technologies we leverage are Lambda, Gateway, Amplify, S3, Cognito & RDS
  • Previous experience in developing and deploying web apps and mobile apps in production is desirable
